Pickleball in Roanoke, Texas

Roanoke now has a true pickleball home base. Texas Pickleball operates eight dedicated indoor courts with long daily hours, drop in play, court reservations, instruction, and events. The nearby public courts at Harmony Park in Trophy Club add a free outdoor alternative, while the Roanoke Recreation Center supports the broader local recreation scene.

Where to play in Roanoke

Texas Pickleball at 1108 N. US Highway 377, Suite 104, is the city's main venue. Its eight climate controlled indoor courts are built specifically for pickleball, with consistent lighting, generous court spacing, a lounge, and a pro shop. Players can book a private court, join open play, or choose a membership for frequent use.

Self check-in access runs from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., making the club useful before work, during the day, and late in the evening. Nonmembers can pay as they go, so the facility is not limited to regular subscribers.

A few minutes away, Harmony Park in Trophy Club has six dedicated public courts completed in 2025. These outdoor courts suit casual groups that prefer park play and do not need the weather protection or organized schedule of an indoor club.

Beginner sessions and coaching

Texas Pickleball offers a free one hour introduction that covers basic rules and helps first time players get comfortable on court. Beginner clinics then work on technique, positioning, and consistency. Intermediate and advanced clinics add shot selection, control, strategy, and match play.

Individual coaching is available at the club for players who want focused feedback. Additional instructors serving the area appear in the local pickleball coaches directory.

Open play and social competition

Daily open play gives solo players an easy route into games. The main all ages, all levels block runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with early bird sessions before that and late night play afterward. Sunday morning has a two hour Roanoke open play special, and senior open play runs daily.

Thursday ladies night provides a social session for women, while leagues, tournaments, clinics, and DUPR rated matches serve players who want structured competition. Because open play spans most of the day, Roanoke has far more flexibility than a recreation center with only a few weekly gym blocks.

An easy visitor game

Texas Pickleball is the clear choice for a visitor. Nonmember court bookings work for a pair or foursome, and daily open play lets an individual rotate into games without bringing partners. The indoor setting removes summer heat, wind, and rain from the equation.

Harmony Park is the useful no frills alternative for travelers who already have players and equipment. Its six dedicated courts provide more capacity than a single neighborhood court and keep the drive from Roanoke short.
